SUmMeR!!!!

We are so glad that summer has finally made it to our state!! We have already been so busy with all the fun outdoor things that summer has to offer. We've been to the pool like 5 times, park like 5 times, had numerous BBQs with family and friends, volleyball games, rodeos, hikes, fishing, and camping trips and late night summer walks and bike rides! Oh the joys of being together with the family and going and doing things together! I really don't care if I'm prego forever, I don't want this warm weather to ever go away!

These girls are little fishes!

They could be at the pool at day!

Then again so could I!

This girl has mastered her bike with OUT training wheels!

Yesterday we went on a short hike up to this cool waterfall!

Happy 3rd Birthday Little Miss Irelynn!!!

Last week our current baby in the family turned 3! I guess since she looks like a 3 year old and acts like a 3 year old it's time for her to be 3!! But the thought of it makes me sad:( the last year went by way to fast! I can't believe that she is going to be starting pre school in August.

Irelynn has always kept us on our toes. There is always a funny story for me to tell daddy when he gets home from work about what funny thing Irelynn has done or said that day...ie: "Mom why don't black people have skin?" or " Are you going to poop the baby out tomorrow mom?" or "when I get big I'm not going to buy milk at the store...I'm going to get it from my boobs cause they are going to huge when I'm a mom!" Yes she is quite the little thinker, and she has an answer for everything! Recently she has told me that she wants to be a teacher when she grows up and that she wants to go to collage far far away:( This for some reason made me cry when she told me this (couldn't be the pregnancy hormones!) but the thought of them growing up and moving away made me super sad. I guess thats why everyone says you better enjoy them while their young, cause it goes by fast...I find this statement being more and more true as I look back and wonder where the last couple of years have gone...? I need to stop and take it all in a little more. ...for instants. Yesterday I just sat outside the girls door and just listen to their conversations about lava girls with super powers....and then when I couldn 't sleep last night I went in their rooms and layed by them taking in every little bit of them I could, their smell, their soft little sunkissed skin, the way they both push their bottom lip out when they sleep and just watching them breath in and out....pretty soon they will be to old for me to do these things and I'll just be that wierd mom.

This year Irelynn decided that she wanted a lady bug birthday party! It turned out super cute and lucky the weather that day was perfect! We set up the bounce and had a little kiddie pool and slip n slide.

The big girl even got a new BIKE for her birthday!

Irelynn is quite the little daddys girl. She is super sweet but also has a trouble maker side!

(just like daddy)

They share a special bond and he always seems to have the trick to make things all better for her. I love to sit back and watch them interact with each other. It just makes me beam, I'm so proud of my family. I love you all so much!
