Picture Perfect Sundays....

So I decided to start a new little blog segment. Every Sunday( at least the ones I'm in town for) I'm going to post my favorite picture of the week. It seems like I at least take about 20 pictures a day. So I thought this would be a great way to show everyone, and make note of all the fun pictures. I'm working on making all my past two years blog post into a journal. I love looking back and remembering all the fun things that I've posted. This is as close to SCRAPBOOKING that I am ever going to get to!

So onto my pictures of the week...this week I'm posting 2 because I'd hate to leave one girl out, and I love both of these pictures! These pictures tell so much about my girls...Aspen:Devilish little Princess....Irelynn: Easy going, and so curious!

September Eleventh

This year I took the girls over to that Sandy City Hall to show them the flags. I told Aspen what they ment and what had happend 8 years ago today. Although I think she had no idea what I was saying, she took it all in and said" that so sad, hu mama." I can't believe that it's been 8 years. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was in the car on my way to school and I kept on hearing people talking about the planes crashing in New York on the radio. I didn't really understand what they were talking about until my first period that day at school. It seems like that day went in slow motion.

So even though Aspen might be a little to young to understand what 9-11 means. She has now had her first american history lesson, given by mommy!

4 YEARS!!!!

Holly Freaking Cow!!! Today Dallas and I are celebrating our 4 year anniversary! Life has flown by so fast and I have no idea where these past 4 year have gone. It has been so much fun starting a family with the man that I love. We have "made" two beautiful angels that seriously complete us. Life could not be better and I'm so proud of what my man has made for us. He is such a great father, husband, lover, friend, brother and son! Thanks babe for being you, and for 4 great years! I can't wait to spend many more with you and to what else life has in store for us! Happy anniversary!

One year Anniversary trip

Two year Anniversary Trip

Every year we try to go on a trip for our anniversary. Last year we didn't make it in September because Irelynn was still so young. So we went in Febuary instead, on our cruise. At the end of the month we will be taking or annual ANNIVERSARY TRIP to San Diego for 5 Days( Kids Included)!!! I can't wait!!

Sweet BLAST from the PAST!!

Ok so I've been going through old photos since I put the girls to bed (about 3 hours ago)! I just found some sweet old ones of Dallas and I at Cottonwood Heights swimming pool.

Oh ya Dustin and Rachelle

Me in Dallas' HOT shades!
(I think April is in the background)

And of course the PDA picture!

Ok and for this next batch of pictures I really can't believe
how young and thick in the cheeks I look!

Funny how I look fatter back then,

and Dallas' face looks so skinny

Looking nice and dressed up!

What was I trying to do??? Brake his head off and eat it!!!

Zoo Days

This year we have made it to the ZOO this year about 5 times, but this Sunday we were lucky to have Daddy join us. It was the best trip this year...by far! The animals were a lot more active, the crowds were not that bad, and there were 3 new Tiger cubs, and a baby giraffe. (The baby elephant won't be on display until next month.) Irelynn loved the zoo this time because she is starting to know what all the animals say. It was so cute how she got so excited when she saw the monkeys and she started scratching her arm pit and saying"OO OO AH AH".

Thanks Daddy for a great Sunday Bunch at Ruth's and a nice Day at the ZOO!

This is how dad help me see the monkeys
